J FOLEY ELECTRICAL RENEWABLES
Many people have the mistaken impression that the bottom has fallen out of the renewables industry. This is due, in part, to the reduction in the amount of earnings the Government now offers for Feed-in Tariff payments on solar panels.
However, we firmly believe renewable energy is only just coming into its own. It is experiencing an evolution which, in the next five-to-10 years, will dramatically change everything from how we heat and light our homes, to the way we get around and do our chores.
With installation prices coming down and energy charges going up, it is still well worth installing energy efficient devices and systems, for the cost savings alone.
Renewable technology is actually developing at its fastest pace ever and therefore we specialise in helping everyone from the farmer wishing to install an industrial scale solar farm and wind turbine to recoup running costs, to the household wanting to replace their traditional lighting with LEDs to save money on their energy bills.
Lighting is just one case in point, where the past five years alone have seen a seismic shift in the quality and options available for LEDs, making it, at last, a viable alternative to traditional lightbulbs.
Actively researching what is coming over the horizon, at Foley Electrical we ensure we have the very latest accreditations in specific renewable techniques and technologies, to help you make the most of the latest, exciting developments.
We are accredited with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme, a nationally recognised quality assurance initiative backed by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
This qualifies us to expertly install ground source heat pumps, solar panels, air source heat pumps and wind turbines, and we are one of the only contractors in East Yorkshire to have a Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) accreditation for fitting renewables, and an installation and maintenance training certificate from leading heat pump manufacturer Daikin.
This also means we are eligible to install systems qualifying for the Feed-in-Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentive schemes.
We also convert existing systems using the newest renewables technology, including installing iBoosts to help homeowners with solar panels to harvest the energy they generate for other purposes, such as hot water heating.
And we are turning our attention to electric cars, too, undergoing training with charger manufacturers ROLEC and TESLA, as well as with individual electric vehicle manufacturers, to be able to install and maintain charging systems in homes.
Did you know that the Government will currently pay up to 90 per cent of the cost of installing a charging wall in your home, for your car and other devices?
We are accredited with the Office for Low Emissions Vehicles (OLEV), to access the impressive grants now available for this purpose.
